Congratulations to Kristina Tucker on her first career Futures Tour victory, which came this past week at the El Paso Golf Classic. Kristina is well-known for her appearance on “Big Break V: Hawaii.” But don’t overlook her golf. Her best finish on the Futures Tour in 2006 was third; her best finish last year - when she had non-exempt status on the LPGA

Kristina Tucker of “Big Break V,” looking very elegant. Kristina had non-exempt status on the LPGA in 2007. She made 8 of 10 cuts on the Futures Tour last year, with a best finish of second. Perhaps 2008 is the year that Kristina breaks through for that first Futures Tour victory.

Former “Big Break” competitor Kristina Tucker is one of the golfers teeing off in the U.S. Women’s Open, which is starting just as I’m writing this. Tucker is playing on the Futures Tour in 2007, with provisional status on the LPGA Tour. She finished tied for 20th at last year’s U.S. Women’s Open.
